Arif has over twenty years of corporate insolvency, restructuring and turnaround experience. He is a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and has provided formal insolvency services and consulting advice to numerous lenders, creditors, debtor companies and other stakeholders in a variety of industries, including financial services, distribution, manufacturing, telecommunications, media and technology, agriculture, forestry, retail, wholesale, real estate, and property management.
His experience working for various parties allows him to understand the key issues relevant to each stakeholder group in the context of formal or informal restructuring proceedings and implement available strategies to achieve the required objectives.
Arif’s experience includes performing viability assessments on distressed companies, and he has been actively involved in numerous proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act.
