Toronto, November 25, 2015 – On November 25, 2015, Victorian Order Of Nurses For Canada, Victorian Order Of Nurses For Canada – Eastern Region, and Victorian Order Of Nurses For Canada – Western Region (collectively referred to as the “Applicants”) sought and obtained from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (the “Court”) an initial order (the “Initial Order”) under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-36, as amended (the “CCAA”). Pursuant to the Initial Order and the CCAA, there was appointed as a monitor, an officer of the Court (the “Monitor”), to monitor the business and financial affairs of the Applicants.
