Toronto, July 22, 2014 – By Order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Bankruptcy made on July 22, 2014, a Bankruptcy Order was made against Nordic Gold Salmon Products Ltd. (“Nordic” or the “Bankrupt”) adjudging Nordic bankrupt, and appointing a trustee in bankruptcy of the estate of the Bankrupt (the "Trustee"). A copy of the Bankruptcy Order is posted below. Pursuant to a Substitution Order dated December 5, 2017, the name of the Trustee was substituted to RSM Canada Limited effective December 1, 2017. The application for the Bankruptcy Order was brought by Norsk Sjomat AS.
The Bankrupt was primarily an importer of salmon products and appears to have ceased operations some time ago.
The Trustee is in the process of gathering information on the Bankrupt’s assets and liabilities. Once this information has been obtained, a Notice of Bankruptcy and Proof of Claim form will be mailed to known creditors of the Bankrupt. Copies of these documents and other information in these proceedings will be posted on this site as they become available.
