Toronto, September 18, 2017 – On September 18, 2017 (the “Filing Date”), Sean Teperman Consulting Corp. (“STCC”) filed a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal pursuant to section 50.4(1) of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. A Certificate of Filing of a Notice of Intention to Make a Proposal (the “Certificate”) was issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada and a trustee in the proposal (the “Proposal Trustee”) was appointed.
On October 18, 2017, STCC filed a proposal with the Proposal Trustee and a meeting of creditors was called for November 8, 2017 to consider the proposal.
On November 8, 2017, the unsecured creditors voted to refuse the proposal and as a result, STCC was deemed to have made an assignment in bankruptcy. A Certificate of Assignment was issued by the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy Canada and a trustee in bankruptcy was appointed (the "Trustee").
Pursuant to a Substitution Order dated December 5, 2017, the name of the Trustee was substituted to RSM Canada Limited effective December 1, 2017. A copy of the Certificate is available at the link below. Other pertinent information will be posted below as they become available.
