Toronto, August 25, 2023 – On August 25, 2023, Quality Sterling Group (“QSG”), comprising Quality Rugs of Canada Limited, Timeline Floors Inc., Malvern Contract Interiors Limited, Ontario Flooring Ltd., Western Hardwood Design Centre, and various QSG holding companies (collectively referred to as the “Applicants”) sought and obtained from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (the “Court”) an initial order (the “Initial Order”) under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-36, as amended (the “CCAA”).
Pursuant to the Initial Order and the CCAA, RSM Canada Limited was appointed as a monitor, an officer of the Court (the “Monitor”), to monitor the business and financial affairs of the Applicants.
