Branch 1-7 of the Polish Alliance of Canada and PolishAssociation of Toronto, Limited

Toronto, June 20, 2014 – On June 20, 2014, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice appointed a receiver and manager (the “Receiver”) without security, of all of the assets, undertakings and properties of Branch 1-7 of The Polish Alliance of Canada (“Branch”) and Polish Association of Toronto, Limited (“PATL”). 

Pursuant to a Substitution Order dated December 5, 2017, the name of the Receiver was substituted to RSM Canada Limited effective December 1, 2017.

The Receiver was appointed pursuant to section 101 of the Courts of Justice Act and the Order of the Honourable Justice F. Myers made May 27, 2014 (the “May 27 Order”).  Copies of the May 27 Order and the receivership order are posted below. Other pertinent information arising after June 20, 2014 will be posted below as they become available. 

As set out in the endorsement of the Honourable Justice F. Myers made June 20, 2014, the Receiver is to, as a neutral third party, take control of the assets of the Branch pending the election of a new executive of the Branch.
