Toronto, October 5, 2018 – Pursuant to an Order of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, on October 5, 2018, RSM Canada Limited was appointed as Receiver, without security, of all of the assets, undertakings and properties of B & G Fleet Management Ltd. (“B&G”) acquired for, or used in relation to a business carried on by B&G, including all proceeds thereof (the “Property”).
A copy of the Receivership Order is posted below and other pertinent public information will be posted to this website as that information becomes available.
B&G carried on business in or around the City of Toronto, Ontario wherein B&G had a fleet insurance policy and offered its members taxi and limousine insurance coverage to individuals and operators who operated licensed taxi vehicle(s) in and around Toronto, York Region and the surrounding regions outside of the GTA. The current intended plan of action of the Receiver, to the extent that such a plan has been determined, is to pursue recovery of a Retention Deposit placed with B&G’s insurer.
Creditors of B&G are asked not to file a proof of claim at this time.
